PenSafe Incorporated is issuing a recall for all 3730 anchorage connectors manufactured in the latter part of 2007 and distributed by PenSafe from June 2008 through June 2009.
There is a potential embrittlement on anchorage connectors with the 07 B year and heat code. This embrittlement may cause the threads on the stem to fracture prematurely from the stress created by the torque of the nut during installation and the fracture may develop over time.
In order to find and remove the defective parts from use, PenSafe is issuing this recall for all 3730 anchorage connectors with manufacturing code "07 B".
